Richard Chalmers

Richard W. Chalmers - President

With over 30 years of experience in the petroleum industry, Richard directs and manages the company’s affairs on a daily basis and leads the organization’s strategic objective.  He received a Business Administration degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University in 1982.  In 1990, Mr. Chalmers was a co-founder of CCA and served as Vice President and Treasurer until 2007 when he assumed the role of President.    Richard has a strong background in administration, business development, and property management services and continually strives to provide quality services to CCA’s clients.



Michael J. Privat - Executive Vice President

Mike is a 1994 graduate of LSU. He entered the Oil and Gas Industry in 1994 and progressively held management positions in Drilling, Workover and Production with an emphasis on Personnel Management and Health, Safety and Environmental programs. He joined Chalmers, Collins & Alwell, Inc. in 2004 in the capacity of Consultant Coordinator / HSE Manager.  Mike was promoted to Vice President of CCA in 2010 and Executive Vice President in 2012. 



David F. McCutcheon—Senior Vice President of Engineering and Operations

David joined CCA in 2003 to manage the company’s engineering team.  He graduated from Louisiana State University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering.  He is a registered petroleum engineer and has more than 35 years of engineering and operational experience.  Prior to joining CCA, David was a Senior Drilling Engineer for Marathon Oil Company in Houston, Texas.


Jim Docherty

James (Jim) Docherty—Senior Vice President of Project Management

In his role as Senior Vice President of Project Management, Jim oversees the activity of CCA’s Project Management Team.  As such, he serves as a mentor and schedules assignments for the group.  Jim graduated from Texas A&M University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering.  He started his career with Kerr McGee and later worked for American Explorer, Inc.  Before joining CCA in 2010, Jim was the Drilling Manager for PetroQuest Energy, Inc.



Patrick J. Angers—Drilling Superintendent

With over 40 years of oilfield experience, Pat serves as drilling superintendent on CCA’s Project Management Team.  He began his career with Placid Oil Company before working with Cities Service Company, Pel-Tex Oil Company and Virginia Indonesia Company.  He has an extensive background in drilling and completion, and before joining CCA in August 2007 he spent many years as an independent consultant, both domestically and internationally.


K Stansbury

Kirk Stansbury - Drilling Superintendent

Kirk joined CCA in January 2013 as a drilling superintendent with over 30 years experience in the oilfield. Prior to his employment with CCA, Kirk worked as a drilling consultant through CCA on McMoRan ultra deep gas drilling projects. Kirk retired from Murphy Oil in March of 2011 after 29 years of service with Murphy. While at Murphy he held various positions, including drilling foreman, project manager, contract coordinator, and senior buyer. A 1977 graduate of Nicholls State University, Kirk holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.



Andrew “Andy” Cart—Senior Project Engineer

After graduating from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Mechanical Engineering in 1976, Andy went to work for BP/Amoco, holding various positions throughout his career, including Reservoir Engineer, Production Engineer, and Drilling Completions Engineer.  Upon his retirement from BP/Amoco, and before joining CCA, Mr. Cart held various consulting positions.  Andy joined CCA in February 2011 and utilizes his 36 years experience on land and offshore projects.

J. Taylor Brazzel—Drilling Engineer

Taylor Brazzel joined CCA’s Project Management Team in June 2012. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Louisiana of Lafayette in May 2012. Mr. Brazzel is a registered Engineer Intern with the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board. He serves on the Executive Committee for the Young Professionals of LAGCOE. While at CCA, Taylor designed, planned, and managed various projects including drilling, completions, and workovers.



Bobby Prince—Vice President of Consulting Services

Bobby joined CCA in January 2005 as Manager of the Business Development Team. He served in that capacity, committed to growth of operational consulting and in-house engineering, until 2013 when he was promoted to Vice President of Consulting Operations. He is a 1977 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in Accounting. Prior to joining CCA, Mr. Prince held marketing and sales positions with Eastman Whipstock, Cal Dive, and Superior Energy, as well as various positions outside the oil and gas industry. He began his oilfield career as a mud engineer.





Leonard Villarreal—Business Development

Leonard joined the Business Development Team at Chalmers, Collins & Alwell, Inc. in July 2013.  After serving in the U.S. Air Force, he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Spanish from University of North Texas, and then earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Prairie View A&M.  In 1977, Leonard began his career in Education, working as a teacher and coach before moving into administration as a high school principal.  He retired from the Texas public school system in 2011.  Prior to joining CCA, Leonard held a marketing position for a strength and conditioning equipment company.



Grant Dozar—Business Development

Grant, a native of Morgan City, Louisiana, joined Chalmers, Collins & Alwell, Inc.’s Business Development Team in July 2013.  In 2012, he graduated with honors from LSU, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.  While at LSU, he was a member of the national championship Tiger baseball team.  Prior to joining CCA, Grant held a marketing and sales position for a sport manufacturing company in Baton Rouge, LA and, while in school, spent summers working for Morgan City Rentals repairing tools and equipment.



Mary Pollard

Mary H. Pollard—HSE/SEMS Program Manager

Before moving into the HSE compliance field, Mary held various director level positions in the healthcare industry.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1978.  Mary has a rich background in leadership, management, technology, compliance, and training.  She joined CCA in October 2011 and is committed to maintaining SEMS compliance while creating a culture of health and safety as a team effort.
